Brian S. Geren To whom it may concern, I am writing this document in reference to my interaction with Lynn Fisher over the past three years. In the dog world and well human world for that matter you will be hard pressed to find someone as honest, passionate, genuine and sincere as Lynn. I met Lynn through my Schutzhund trainer over three years ago. At that point I had a GSD (an American saddle back if you will) that I had purchased from a "puppy mill" When I purchased this first GSD I knew not of neither Lynn nor my trainer. It was through my veterinarian that I met my trainer and subsequently Lynn. I mention this because for months prior to me parting ways with this GSD Lynn worked with me unconditionally to try and fix some of the problems I was encountering. She did not have a "sales" hat on but rather a "friends" hat as her passion for GSD's was apparent. Months later when I was ready to purchase a "true" GSD there was but only one place to go. I knew I wanted a pup from the hund that I had spent the past two years working with, Harley Vom Bruderhof and I wanted a Sable. During October of 2005 it was time to make the addition to our family and Steffi Vom Haus Cobusca was kind enough (along with Harley) to bless us with a female, Cayuse Stuka Vom Bruderhof. The whole process with Lynn was outstanding as she had my family over and took my children in the whelping area and let the pups socialized with them. This was key for me as I learned so much about socialization from Lynn and how important it is. Lynn was honest and forthright with my family and me and made the whole process very very comfortable for us. I continued to see the passion that Lynn has for what she does and honestly think that if she could she would keep all the pups. : You've heard this before but given my situation from my first GSD purchased elsewhere prior to knowing Lynn and with the GSD I have at home now, "you get what you pay for." Simply stated, when it comes time for me or anyone I know to look at getting a TOP SHELF GSD from a TOP SHELF person I will be contacting Lynn! Finally, regarding Stuka, her temperament is phenomenal the dog is absolutely awesome and my 6 and 3-year-old children have an awesome friend in her thanks to Lynn and the quality that she breeds. This is only a snapshot so if you would have any questions that I can answer front facing or on the telephone don't hesitate to contact me. Regards, Brian & Stuka!

In November, 2007, I had just lost my female GSD, and my male GSD had DM and was in poor health, and I knew we would lose him in a few months. Though tragic, this gave me some time to really look around and decide exactly where to purchase a new pup. I spoke to several breeders, and made lots of inquiries concerning breeders through various GSD mail groups. I had the extreme good fortune to have Lynn Fisher as one of the names that was highly recommended to me. Lynn was not only knowledgeable, she was also very caring. She and I spoke about the breeding lineage and traits I was looking for. I found her to be very knowledgeable, willing to give me all of the information I requested, and she was 100% honest - quite refreshing! In my conversations with her, it was obvious that she bred out of love for the German Shepherd breed. She was particular about where her pups were placed, and worked very hard to make sure she placed the right pup with the right owner(s) to insure that both the pup and the family were happy. Lynn knew that it was going to be a few months before I could get a pup, yet she took so much time with me. She stayed in touch, would ask how our boy was doing, and gave kind words of encouragement and sympathy. I thought at that time with what I had seen and heard that she was the breeder I wanted, but Lynn was much more than that - she became a friend, a counselor, and a much-needed shoulder, even though she had no idea that I had decided that she was where I would definitely go for my new pup. I have visited her kennel and I am impressed with her dogs. Every one of them is outstanding, and truly shows what the German Shepherd dog really is - healthy, friendly, obedient, energetic, and well-adjusted. I purchased our first pup, Tess, from Lynn in April, 2008, and was able to see both the dam and sire (such an added benefit if you want to see what your pup will be like). It is clear that Lynn knows exactly what she is doing. Her pups are given such loving care, exposed to all kinds of sights and sounds, and are very well-socialized. I got to see all of the pups, and there was not one I would not have taken. And the most wonderful thing about Lynn is that she really cares about every one of her pups and every one of her clients. The packet of information she gives you contains everything you need. Lynn will counsel you on any question, training issue or problem you have with your pup, and I have found her experience as a trainer and breeder with 30 years of experience to be invaluable. I feel I know quite a bit about dog behavior and training, but she has innovative ideas and draws from her years of experience, and has come up with some wonderful suggestions. Tess is a very social, friendly pup to both children and adults, as well as puppies and grown dogs. We are attending training classes and she is intelligent and a quick study. My vet is very impressed with her as well, asked where I got her, and has stated that he thinks she will be an outstanding dog. We are so impressed with our girl that we have purchased a second pup from Lynn who will arrive at our home in about a month. I have had the opportunity to visit the 4 week old pups this week, and once more I was pleased. Again there is not one I would not take! If you are looking for a breeder who is what a breeder should be, and who has German Shepherds who truly exhibit what the breed is all about, Lynn Fisher is the breeder you want. With Lynn you definitely get what you pay for, and so much more! If you have questions, feel free to contact me - I'm happy to answer any questions you might have.

This is Kayte and Nick that picked up the pup from you yesterday. I just wanted to let you know that he seems to be adjusting really well to his new home. He didn't have any problems at all on the ride home, but we could tell he was ready to get out of the car and not have to get back in! We gave him a bath last night and he stood there for it with absolutely no objection! We loved on him and played with him until about 10 last night and then put him in his kennel. He whined only for a minute before settling in. He woke up around 4 am and we took him out to go the bathroom and then he settled back into his kennel with minimal whining until we got up around 730. He has learned his name very quickly and responds pretty well when told to come "hier." We love him very much and can't thank you enough. He is very content just being in the same room we are in and likes to follow us everywhere. He has also done very well being introduced to my parents and some of the neighbors. Thanks again, Kayte & Nick (and of course little Nate too)

September 21, 2009 To whom it may concern: In the first 6 months of 2008, we lost both of our beloved dogs to illnesses and advanced age. One of our dogs, a male GSD, had severe hip dysplasia along with spinal issues. He lasted until he was 11 years and a few months old. He was our first GSD and at the time we purchased him from a well-meaning yet relatively new breeder, we didn’t know very much about what to look for in quality breeding. I was a bit reluctant at first to consider getting another GSD as the last couple years watching our dog deal with his dysplasia was very painful. But my husband’s urging and my love for the spirit, loyalty and the beauty of the breed caused me to reconsider. And, again, we were sure we wanted another European-line shepherd. After doing quite a bit of research on what to look for in a quality breeder and some shopping around we finally made the trip up to Lima to meet Lynn and see her dogs. She spent all the time we wanted answering questions; we met not only the parents of the litter we went up to see, but saw her other dogs as well; we were able to see the whelping area; and lastly, were able to play with and handle the pups in the litter we would be selecting our pup from. The dog kennels and the pup areas were very clean and it was obvious that they were kept that way, not just spruced up for company. Needless to say, we were hugely impressed and decided on the trip home that this was where we would get our new pup. Lynn also described the socialization process and the temperament testing at 7 weeks she put all her pups through. When the pups were ready at 8 weeks old, we went back up to make our selection. Since we wanted a pup that was not too submissive or too dominant, Lynn took that into consideration as she presented the pups to us, one at a time, out in the yard. One of the female pups seemed to Lynn very well suited to us but we had kind of wanted a male; she had a male that came out a close second and that is the one we picked. I mention this because, as it turned out, Raffy was a bit more dominant than we had set our sites on and Lynn was most likely correct in her assessment of the pup suitability. Lynn has been breeding dogs for a long time and knows what she’s doing! Raffy has been a gem in an otherwise dreary year for us. As I mentioned before, Lynn puts her pups through a heavy socialization process when they are very young and that proved to be a huge help. There has never been a child he has tried to harm or any person for that matter; he has always been open to new experiences; noises do not bother him; he is not aggressive to other dogs. Although I did mention above that he was a bit more dominant than we had wanted, that has proved to be a great learning experience for us. We had taken him to puppy classes at a local club which, while certainly worthwhile, didn’t quite address all of Raffy’s needs (and our lack of recent experience). We turned to Lynn for suggestions and some of her advice seemed at odds with the training methods of the trainers at the club. One thing led to another and we ended up taking Raffy back up to Lynn’s for some individual training. The change was almost immediate! Lynn taught us in a couple sessions what weeks of group classes did not. I am not suggesting that anyone getting a pup from Lynn needs to go for additional training from her; I am just stressing that in the selection process and any added advice you may receive from her…LISTEN! She knows what she is doing (did I already say that?)! In conclusion, Raffy is just over a year old and has been a fantastic dog in spite of a few speed bumps along the way. He has great spirit, he is very healthy and seems to love us as much as we love him. We eventually want to get a second dog when Raffy is a little older and we had initially discussed getting another smaller breed dog. Since we have had Raffy and experienced Lynn’s support and commitment to the pups she places, we have changed our thinking and will not hesitate to get our next dog from her. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
